After our house burned down, PM Vandentillaart Construction took on the challenge of building us a new home.  Fire rebuilds are difficult projects because they need to meet both the specifications set out by the insurance company, as well as the pragmatic and nostalgic expectations of the home-owner.  Our house not only needed to fulfill insurance-dictated standards, but it also needed to somehow take the place of the home that we had lost.

PMV has provided us with a wonderful new home.  Paul was personally attentive right from the early planning stages in an effort to get the build started quickly, which, under the circumstances, was very important to us.  Whenever some aspect of the new house did not match what we had in our former home or what we envisioned for our new home, PMV was always willing to explore ways in which they could better meet our vision.  They even took care of issues that were not really their responsibility.  When we discovered a widespread problem with the finish of our paint, Paul had most of our main floor repainted even though it should have been the paint manufacturer's responsibility to provide the solution.  Right down to the finishing touches, PMV was intent on satisfying our expectations.
